Anthem Rugby Carolina (2-1) are back at American Legion Memorial Stadium this Saturday riding the high of last weekend’s landmark result, the club’s first-ever home win, a hard-earned victory over the Seattle Seawolves that ended a three-match history of heartbreak against the Pacific Northwest side. The crowd was electric, the forwards were dominant, and the belief inside this squad is growing by the week.

Now comes Old Glory DC, and the challenge is to do it again.

DC arrives in Charlotte looking to steady an uneven start to 2026 after dropping their opener 33-16 to Seattle and searching for the consistency that has eluded them through the early weeks. They remain a dangerous side, experienced, physical, and capable of turning a half around in a single phase, but Anthem have shown in back-to-back weeks that this team can match anyone in the league when the pack fires and the backs play with tempo. Expect Coach Cuca’s side to bring the same intensity that rattled Seattle, with the home crowd expected once again to play its part.
