The biggest test of the season so far. Anthem Rugby Carolina (2-3) travel to Chicago to face the only undefeated team in Major League Rugby, a Hounds side that hasn’t lost in five matches and has been putting up some of the most dominant scorelines the league has seen. They’re ruthless, they’re efficient, and they’ll be riding the confidence of a perfect start to 2026.

But Anthem already know they can compete. When these two sides met in Week 2, Anthem produced their most disciplined performance of the season, fewer turnovers, fewer penalties, and long stretches where they controlled the contest, before going down 33-19. Coach Cuca was honest afterwards: his team could have won that game. The plan is to prove it this time.

Refreshed after a bye week and armed with the best scrum in the league, Anthem head to the Windy City with nothing to lose and everything to play for. The second half of the season starts now.
